✅ We currently do not have a classroom option setup for this area. Please consider our Approved Online Driver’s Ed — The EDI Difference
Most online programs use generic templates filled with endless slides and minimal interaction. EDI is proud to offer something better — here’s how we stand out:
-
Teens can complete their classroom training in a flexible, self-guided format.
-
Built for Real Learning
No more reading dry manuals — our course is packed with engaging video instruction and relatable content that mirrors our award-winning in-class training. -
Designed by Experts Who Care
Developed by Adam Newbloom, former Deputy Sheriff and M.B.A., who saw how lifeless programs were contributing to teen crash rates — and set out to fix it. -
Goes Beyond State Requirements
We don’t just meet the standards — we exceed them with a course that actually prepares teens for the real world. -
Finish Strong with Permit Support
Once the course is complete, you’ll contact us to schedule the Permit Exam. -
Personal Guidance from EDI-WI Owner
Travis Mayer will walk families through the next steps in the licensing journey — you're supported every step of the way.

Class Scheduling FAQ
1) How do I know if the class I want still has openings?
During the school year it is rare for a class to fill up. However summer sessions will fill up. To check on availability go to the registration page to sign up for the package you would like. If you can register for a class, there is still room in the class. If the class is not listed, it means all seats are full.
2) I am not able to make it to all the classroom sessions. Can I still sign up?
We expect our students to place their driver's ed high on the priority list, however we understand that unavoidable conflicts do happen. You can attend "free of charge" the next classroom lesson when offered - usually 1 - 2 months out. We also provide an easy option to help teens complete their training with us.
-
$25 Charge - Make up your missed class Online at your convenience. This is an instructor taught lesson that mirrors the actual lesson missed so Students won't miss a beat. Once the lesson is completed online - you will receive a certificate of completion that can be submitted for credit. Get started right away using the link.
3. I'm not 15 yet, can I still take the classes?
You must be 14.5 minimum to take classes. You can start with a Classroom Only Option and then add the additional driving package or start with a Complete Package.
4. What if I cannot attend the Parent Session?
This is very important part of our program as we need parents to be on the same page as EDI during this vital year of training. However we understand that work or other conflicts can get in the way. We do not require parents to attend, though we ask them to make the commitment in their teens road safety by attending. If you are not able to attend, you can attend an alternate session or attend our Online "Parent Instructor" Course ($25) from the comfort of your home. This course will help prepare you to prepare your Teen to become their best!
